SMS API

How can I receive SMS from my customers?

To receive replies in your Darbird Dashboard or through the API on your sent messages, you will need to have a shared number as your senderID. It is impossible to receive replies when using an alphanumeric ID, as there is no number to reply.

A shared Number is a number generated randomly and owned by Darbird. The difference between a shared and a Dedicated number is that a Shared number can be used to get a reply on the message sent out from you as this allow us to forwarded the incoming message to your account. If you use a Dedicated number you will receive any messages sent to that particular number because it is linked to your account only.
