All recipient numbers should be in the international format. For that, you need the country prefix. It’s really important for all numbers to follow this format as, without it, you might end up sending or calling the wrong country!
Add the country prefix, and take off the + and the first 0 from the number, for example:
- Nigeria number, country prefix(+234): 81234567, should be entered as 23481234567
- UK number, country prefix (+44): 12345678, should be entered as 44123456789
Make sure the mobile number you enter is available and valid so that you do not waste your credit unit on messages sent to unachievable phone numbers.
